Established in late 2011, SSI; The Defence and Aerospace Industry Exporters’ Association of Turkey is a network of suppliers, manufacturers and exporters of land and naval platforms, aerospace, defence electronics, weapon systems and ammunition, support systems and logistic services, military clothes and finery equipment, R&D, engineering etc.

SSI is the sole sectoral association of Turkish Defence and Aerospace Industry working under the auspices of Ministry of Economy and in cooperation with the Ministry of Defence.

SSI’s main goal is to expand the volume of export and to promote and organize trade expansion within its companies to help increase global market share. Having started with 60 members, SSI had reached nearly 200, by the end of a year and a half.
